FAO any interior Group Buy participants having seats trimmed - another Group Buy?

This thread is aimed specifically at the GB participants who are having seats retrimmed by me, but it could also apply to anyone who just wants to freshen things up a little.

I've done a couple of Z32s this year so far and one had brand new seat foam from Interior Innovations, whilst the other one didn't. With the best will in the world, most of these seats are over 20 years and probably with a fair few miles on them... that means the foam will be way past its best!

My recommendation, therefore, is this: anyone having seats trimmed by me should strongly consider purchasing new foams beforehand. To that end, I'd like to gather interest on a possible GB for the Interior Innovations foam kits for the front seats. Here's the link. Both sides are $375 the pair plus shipping and whatnot.

I don't know what discount, if any, would be offered but I will make enquiries. So if anyone's interested in this, whether you're in the interior GB or not, pop your name down and we'll go from there.

Cheers! :)

I can't stress enough how much of a difference this makes to the seats. I've fitted a couple of sets over the years and it transformed them! As I've mentioned to a few people recently, I'd have bought some for myself years ago if I still had the factory seats fitted. :thumbup1:

Out of interest, what's the "best" alternative seats everyone else recommend using, with reclining and decent fitting?

A lot of lads go for the Recaro's as they were fitted in the later spec Z's. I've a set of Sparco Torino's and Konig K5000 G4's that I was going to try in the 2 seater

Hi Si

Sounds like a good idea if the seats are being redone tbh would need to know the price soon as i am just in the throws of having cam belt, water pump radiator etc done so funds might start being tight.

Also depends when my interior is going to start?

Stuart

Si, is it worth changing the title of the post as it looks as though it’s only for those people who are getting their interior redon by you? Some people might not be reading the post and understanding that anyone can get involved.

Hi Si

Its been a long time since any news of any interior's having been completed or even a planned eta for any of us who are still waiting.

i know you are busy and this has possibly been a massive undertaking, but it has been many months overdue and I for one would like to have an idea of when my interior is likely to start.

I have also still not received a receipt which you also promised me, or a sample of the material to be used.

sorry to have to post again but I have no communication from you when i have private messaged you or when i posted on another thread released to this re-trim group buy.

I / we look forward to hearing back from you

regards Stuart
