Chichester half marathon, goes right past the circuit, lots of road closures imediatly to the west of the circuit

[sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

According to the local newspaper:

https://www.chichester.co.uk/news/transport/council-announces-road-closures-for-chichester-half-marathon-1-8656916

"West Sussex County Council have announced road closures ahead of the Chichester Half Marathon.

The orders will be put in place on October 7 from 8.45am to 12.30pm."

So we will be inside the circuit before they take effect.

She's so fine, there's no tellin' where the money went - Simply irresistible.

That’s an interesting list, there’s no mention of Claypit Lane (which runs along the entrance of the motor circuit). Anyone still attending after the road closure will still be able to get to car parks from the north (down from the horse race track) or the east (via Halanker, New road East).

Does anyone know if security will let you in with the pass on our phone or does it need to be printed?

From the acceptance email from the organisers:

"Attached to this email is your parking pass, which you need to print out and clearly display in your windscreen to gain access to the Motor Circuit."

The marshalls will be moving people in quickly, so best to follow the instructions.

Lovely day at Goodwood for the BC. Great to meet up with those that made the event. Thanks to Chris

we managed to get the cars on the track at the famous pit straight with Ian's slick top together with the

three UK specs of Chris, Gary and myself!

Yes it was a great day, bloody cold to start with but it got a lot nicer by 0900.

I think the 300s got a lot of people talking and our cars always had a group of people enjoying them.

Thanks to Andrew, Gary and Ian for you company, it’s always nice to talk to fellow enthusiasts. :cool3:

Thanks for sharing Andrew, they look great together. UK cars outnumbering import cars is unheard of these days!

At one point we had 4 UK cars in a group of 5 300ZX. :wot:
