I now have paint missing from rear bumper, scrape marks on top of the tailgate and a crack below the O/S/R light unit........ looks awfully like a flatbed pickup has hit her, just like someone who lives very close to me owns!!!!!

Guessing that as it's not easy to scrape the top of a tailgate and leave black marks........

 

After the other week watching him reverse into another neighbours car TWICE..... he backed up and hit it, got out and looked for damage, got in truck and did exactly the same manoeuvre cracking neighbours rear window in the process.

Then got in his other car and drove all down the side of same neighbours car, then reversed the same truck through his on cars window...... It was comical at the time!!!!!

Now it is less amusing!!!

 

I need a garage built or one to rent locally!!

Of course the mature, civilised male understands that his priorities are his family, his job and his home. But you're not dealing with a mature male, he's not on a forum asking why his neighbours putting up CCTV after scraping his car. He's most likely taken half a gram, is enjoying a few beers and is sat playing online poker waiting for his adultwork hooker to arrive! He's not giving a second thought to the torment he's caused his neighbours.

 

So either a) accept the situation for what it is, doing silly things to 'get back' or getting police involved over misdemenours is only going to result in worsening things.. embrace it, maybe try winning his friendship by taking him a carry out, or invite him over to watch the footy with a curry and talk motors or b) harden up and go sort it out with him on his level. It might only take you telling him you've had enough of his shit and to back off, but you must be able to back that up with genuine agression so he knows you're not to be ****ed with.

That's why you get it all on CCTV Silvia :innocent:, have it all recorded and statements made, then you're covered if it does get out of hand:whistling:. I like the idea of naming your WIFI "Police CCTV", great move there Russ. That alone might make him think twice. If it was me, and he kept at it, i'd move my good cars out of there and hop off his car a few times (no witnesses) and see how he likes it!!!

I reckon you should have a Z meet up there and see if he's anything to say about it when there's 8-10 lads with their cars there. Make a point of saying (within earshot) That's the A**hole that keeps smacking my car and see how brave he is then:thumbup:

As for your neighbours, there's strength in numbers mate, see about getting a Neighbourhood Watch going. I guarantee you he's a bottleous b*%@ard, all bullies are, they're insecure and feel that by picking on / intimidating people makes them feel better about their own miserable existence.

You know mate - I might be the only one to say this, but you do actually make a good point! I don't advocate violence and will be the first to walk away from a fight, but sometimes, that's the only language these idiots understand.

 

At work I get called the posh boy from Buckinghamshire - although I actually grew up in East London, in the 1970s. And just like you infer, I learned some good life-lessons in the school playground........ That, and making friends with a couple of the hardest b@stards, was the key to survival....:cool:

 

Ha, things like that won't change unless you get a hammer and rap it into the back of his ribs - or knock his head in with your fists if you're confident enough you can take him. These kinda guys are usually the first to run to the police when they get hurt and say he does you'll do a couple years inside if it's a first offense depending how far you go. I guarantee he wont **** you or your family around in the future. But then unless someones willing to take that step - they know they've got the upper edge and the fact is he IS the alpha male according to his values and mindset.

 

This whole 'be the bigger man', 'karma will get them' (there's always a slim chance of this, as most people get bad luck from time to time), 'dont stoop to their level' and 'use your brain, not your brawn' is a load of horseshit unfortunately pal to make clever guys who lack that physical edge feel better about the situation, with guys of this mentality there's only one deterrant and that's a good hiding - no slanging matches just a forehead straight into the nose. Don't wait on anyone else to do it for you either, if you want to fix the problem you go and fix it like you would in the school playground - pick the biggest bully and leather him right infront of his mates. Even if you take a beating back he'll respect you for standing up to him, you've shown that you've got some balls.

 

Of course you're taking this from a guy who works with lads of this mentality day in day out, where there's no such thing as dismissal for taking drugs or scrapping. You just get on with it and do your job.

Trouble is and I’ve learned this lesson the hard way these people always have about 400 family members. You get in a ruck beat them fair and square and then two weeks later you get jumped at the pub by a bunch of 5 or 6 of them when your on your own. I used to get myself in trouble standing up for myself a fair bit when I was younger and eventually changed tactic, there’s a dick head in my road but for some reason he has decided he likes me, the wife winds me up and calls him “your mate”.

 

If you keep collecting your evidence, that day you finally snap and deck him will be perfectly justified at the end of a prolonged campaign. You’d just be defending yourself. When you do, share the footage because I bet he will look stunned as **** when he on his back like a turtle, arms and legs waving, wondering what just happened.

I wouldn't suggest any form of violence on your part tbh. Just collect as much evidence as you can. Then present it to the authorities. Once you’ve done that continue collecting evidence and if he threatens you or kicks off then film that too and present that to the authorities as well. Document every little shitty he does and then he doesn’t have a leg to stand on. He’ll soon stop once he starts getting fined for damages or getting ASBO’s and if he doesn’t stop then as long as you have the evidence you can send the ****er to prison.

It hasn't really Joel, I gave proper advice regarding collecting of evidence, then reporting it "off the record" to the Police who can then in turn keep an eye on the situation.

I may have mentioned that once he had plenty of aforementioned evidence, nobody could blame him from snapping and kneecapping the B@*%£$d, as he had been abandoned by society's law makers:whistling::innocent:

I have to say thank you to everyone for their input on how to handle this Situation.....

But I am the sort of person to try and avoid conflict unless I have NO option left. I have been in a situation where I was forced to defend my life at 19 years old from someone who tried to execute me with a shotgun!

I was in the wrong place at the wrong time..... And randomly targeted!

I had what is known as an adrenaline dump and launched the guy 10ft into a wall.... when he tried to force me to put a shotgun in my mouth...... So I know what I can do if pushed, but this scares me!

I have PTSD and have since I was 19..... Yearly nightmares, irritability and mood swings around the same time every year....

If he backs me into a corner and gives me no option he would probably regret it, but so would I after as it would impact my family badly.....

So going to go for camera and evidence option.....
