I now have paint missing from rear bumper, scrape marks on top of the tailgate and a crack below the O/S/R light unit........ looks awfully like a flatbed pickup has hit her, just like someone who lives very close to me owns!!!!!

Guessing that as it's not easy to scrape the top of a tailgate and leave black marks........

 

After the other week watching him reverse into another neighbours car TWICE..... he backed up and hit it, got out and looked for damage, got in truck and did exactly the same manoeuvre cracking neighbours rear window in the process.

Then got in his other car and drove all down the side of same neighbours car, then reversed the same truck through his on cars window...... It was comical at the time!!!!!

Now it is less amusing!!!

 

I need a garage built or one to rent locally!!

FFS! Was your car on the drive?

Have a look for witness marks on the back of his truck, if there's any paint call the rossers

oh ffs Russ, what an arsehole, although without witnesses its hard to prove he did it

had similar problem in the past, knew who it was, their car showed matching damage, i reported it as hit and run, but police couldnt prove anything.

Hi Andrew, yep on the driveway and fully on as well...... only way I know who it was is because of the marks on top of the tailgate...... Just can't prove it and no witnesses....

Same guy who backed into the wife car the other week in front of us and then tried to bully the wife, claim he is a 'Lunatic' who has been on medication before, then told her he was claiming off her insurance if he damaged his own car....

Neighbour from hell who would just have my cars done over and over again..... He truly doesn't care.... If he wasn't here I would work on my Z a lot more....

just to give you an idea..... this was the view from my house for 7 days the other week.....

I spoke to them and they offered to speak to him Eggs...... last time they did that he laughed in their face and just shut his front door. They then walked up my driveway and let him know for sure who called them.....

I had 6 months of tyres let down or screws in them, comments made loud enough for us to hear..... he tries to intimidate with a smile..... and has always got away with it.....

Everything we try seems to make him worse......

Get some cctv cameras up !!

Just bought an IP camera and built a dedicated PC to stream and record everything.... just need to put power and cabling to the loft and set it up.... will be doing in the next week or so....

Had to build pc as the software won't run on my MacBook as no plugin available to view feed.......

I really don't understand people like this. How they get through life without getting seven bells kicked out of them is very odd.

I have to be squeaky clean as my job requires a clean DBS check to do what I do........ so no retaliation, no payback, just relying on Karma and psychological warfare......:shifty:

He hates it with us not losing it at him, we smile through gritted teeth and I occasionally catch him unaware and manage to loudly say 'Hello' or 'Morning' startling him.......

 

Everyone just says, "well thats *** for you!" and seems to accept him being like it until he turns on them........

I experienced similar, and after threats of violence we were forced to move house in the end.

This is pretty lousy news, Russ! I genuinely hate folk like this who try and ooze machismo - we had something similar a few years back when one of the houses in the street turned into a bail hostel overnight.

 

Swaggering muppets acting like Top Kiddie. Threatening to bite the dogs' noses off and suchlike... proper diamond geezers.

I have five security lights with pir's front and rear of the house.

You cen set them at different light, movement & time they are on.

I would inform the police as a matter of coarse.

Get it all on record Russ, you can make a statement to the Police to go on “the record” but without them acting on it, slowly build up a profile of him every time he does something intimidating or aggressive, report it. Get your cctv and start keeping evidence, you will eventually build up enough of a profile that the Police will eventually act on anti social behaviour, if he kicks off, you’ll just be getting more evidence against him:yes:

I’m “under threat” with my job, had dirtbirds roaring and shouting threats at the house damaging vehicles and worse, installed a €7.5k security system, 360* CCTV, LED Floodlighting, upgraded monitored alarm. Had an armed unit in the house at one point, they were all made aware that I now have this “State of the Art” system and as I live in a Cul de sac, anyone of interest will be shown to the Gardai (Irish Police) and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Haven’t had anyone near here in 24 months, plus I’m covered if I do defend myself (which I’m quite capable of doing) as its all recorded with the proper authorities:thumbup1:

I spoke to a friend tonight who is going to help with the setting up of the CCTV for me. As I know whats coming as soon as I put the ladder up and start fitting it. He's going to hold the ladder and make sure I don't fall or get pushed off....

One of the problems is that the problem person has his henchmen in the opposite corner as they work together to make everyone toe the line. if there was only one of them it wouldn't be so bad....

As soon as next door had a problem with us, so did his friend...

The friend lets his grandchildren (teenagers) kick their football at my Z for fun. Ask them to stop and they just do it more and then he comes out with threats and abuse....

Everyone else in the close stays indoors and tries to stay out of anything so they don't get targeted....

You shouldn't have to live like this!!!!

Put up a few camera's watching both sides of the street, get EVERYTHING on memory stick, contact a Community Liason Officer and make him aware of your problems. I don't know your situation regarding your accommodation, rented, owned etc. If at all possible, move away from the D***heads and if it was me, I'd sell my house to the Pikey's, Council, Parole Board or any other Dept. that would house undesireables and feck off outta there, leaving them in a worse state than what you had to endure:innocent:

Get some compliant signs for your CCTV setup also, they dont have to be big. ebay sell them this will make sure you are compliant if anything gets accused or if you need to submit evidence you video in a court. That way the scumbag cant slither out of anyhting.

I know all this will be frustrating for you but be strong. You are better then they are. In most cases these kind of people do get what is coming to them, its just not usually where you see them most often (outside their house). From what you say the fact that he has to act like that just shows you that he is a pathetic and a weak person in our society.

As richie say if you own your house sell it an move on i know you shouldn't have to move but you shouldn't have to live like this

....But I'd do this - just to take the fooker down a peg or two. He behaves like this because he has gotten away with it for so long. Whilst it's often easier to turn the other cheek, just to avoid the hassle, one can only take so much.

 

Personally, I'd try to get all the other neighbours onside with the recording etc.; and then all go for him using the law.

Well no option to sell up and move unfortunately. So the CCTV is going up asap!

I just need to wire in the power, install our router into the loft by moving the master socket into the loft. Cable coming into the house runs through the loft, so should be easy.

Gonna take the oppertunity to drop Cat 5 cable into all the rooms while i'm doing this.... should stop any wifi failure that our BT hub 5 regularly throws up causing problems. If its on a LAN cable it should be ok....

Plus I have now named one of our wireless networks 'Police CCTV'..... so all the neighbours will see this on their list of networks..... might stop some shenanigans...... lol

 

Also another neighbours parents watched him purposefully reverse into my wife car and saw everything...... They are willing to make a statement to this effect. but it will open our neighbours up to him starting on them as well... So they are just going to make a statement for the records with the police with no action to be taken..... for future evidence!

 

Playing the long game..... gathering evidence.....

Gonna take the oppertunity to drop Cat 5 cable into all the rooms while i'm doing this....

 

I did this, all rooms/plugs in the walls are attached to a 16 port router, then into the BT hub. Its so much faster, we have the tv in the bedroom, all the comptuters, PS3 and 4, amp, projector etc all cabled. Only things on the wifi now are the phones. I have two CCTVs hard wried in too. I just ran CAT 5e cable from the cameras across the loft under the boards to the 16 port switch and all thier video is stored onto the NAS.

Ha, things like that won't change unless you get a hammer and rap it into the back of his ribs - or knock his head in with your fists if you're confident enough you can take him. These kinda guys are usually the first to run to the police when they get hurt and say he does you'll do a couple years inside if it's a first offense depending how far you go. I guarantee he wont **** you or your family around in the future. But then unless someones willing to take that step - they know they've got the upper edge and the fact is he IS the alpha male according to his values and mindset.

 

This whole 'be the bigger man', 'karma will get them' (there's always a slim chance of this, as most people get bad luck from time to time), 'dont stoop to their level' and 'use your brain, not your brawn' is a load of horseshit unfortunately pal to make clever guys who lack that physical edge feel better about the situation, with guys of this mentality there's only one deterrant and that's a good hiding - no slanging matches just a forehead straight into the nose. Don't wait on anyone else to do it for you either, if you want to fix the problem you go and fix it like you would in the school playground - pick the biggest bully and leather him right infront of his mates. Even if you take a beating back he'll respect you for standing up to him, you've shown that you've got some balls.

 

Of course you're taking this from a guy who works with lads of this mentality day in day out, where there's no such thing as dismissal for taking drugs or scrapping. You just get on with it and do your job.
