Greetings Z enthusiasts!

After much thinking I've come to the conclusion the best way to obtain my dream Z is to have Gazwoz import one for me from Japan.

He's very resourceful and has vast knowledge as you already know and he has already surprised me with how fast he has acted in sourcing information on something that has caught our eye! It's in pearl white manual SWB 96 looks absolutely stunning so we'll see how it goes? If it's not the one I'm just going to play the waiting game until Gary contacts me with something that catches his eye.

Exciting times ahead at least I am with somebody that knows his stuff in sourcing amazing fairladies from Japan.

My first impressions I'm quite impressed with his resourceful information and fast response, he's all over it as he knows I've got my heart set on this one hopefully it's early stages yet but he's investigating it further to make sure everything sound and then hopefully we can negotiate a deal and bring her home!

Good luck with your search. BTW the example above has a very poorly fitting (probably fiberglass copy) rear spoiler on the n/s.

Cheers, oh yes Hawk eyes good spotting, hopefully it's nothing major and can be sorted out. Also investigating it's history making sure it hasn't had any panel damage in had some body kit to hide it same with the fresh respray.

Good spotting! It's exactly what I'm looking for and it's got quite a lot of aftermarket bits on it, I'll be happy as a pig in shit if everything checks out. If not I'll have to wait could be ages before another one comes up as the majority are 2+2 with the tops. Gary has requested a load of additional information as soon as he hears anything back he will let me know and everything is fine I'll pull the trigger on this.

Depends, at auction yeah but there's always a few slicktops for sale from dealers. Most are TT though so you could expect a higher cost.

Fingers crossed Gaz can find you a decent car. With regards the white one, I would have a good look at the structure around the front end. To me it looks as though the headlights are wonky and the panel gap between the nose panel and bonnet isn’t quite right. Obviously crash damage can cause this but it also happens when garages lift the car using the front radiator support structure; costly and time consuming to fix.

Exciting times though trying to find the right car, best of luck with your search. [emoji41]

Yeah with regards to that kind of thing the car has definitely been tracked or drifted... engine bay looks bad looks like it's puked up oil oily substance over types etc so we're going to give it a miss. It had some nice modifications done to it that I liked but it could even have worn out synchros low compression engine. I think it's worth taking the risk.

At least I'm in good hands and I trust Gary will find me something very cool.
