So, I've been here for years now and have seen many zeds come and go. Some of my favourites being here in the northeast. Anyway, I thoughts I'd make a thread about old favourite to try and drum up some interest.

So, what are your old favourites and where are they now if you know.

The Fridge:

So this was owned by PaulG who put the kit on and painted the car himself in his garage. Shockingly, I remember FunkySi saying he quite liked the car. I personally loved it, veilside Supra spoiler and all. The car sold sold to someone abroad, initially having a wheel change and the spoiler removed before having a complete new colour and look.

There was another black SWB with a wide-arch kit. De-spoilered rear I think.

I remember (vaguely) a silver car owned by a guy called Stuart I think - Reg SMW....something, that I seem to remember he'd spent literally 10's and 10's of thousands on (£70k rings a bell). Is it still alive ?

You definately did like!

That will have been Zelda - I've now added the photos (couldn't do it yesterda)

Incorrect, I think you're getting confused with PaulC's which I quite liked.

You're thinking of silver streak. That car was broken ages ago and was a LWB.

The first wide arch I ever remember properly was Alan (gruntpa64). Pretty sure that was originally a PPS produced car.

Alan was a good chap too.

Changed hands a couple of times since, here's a recent photo of it.

There's a black shorty I'll be posting at some point. The owner sadly died from memory

What about madmarco and dazvert. Both vanished.

Dazvert was on the list too (stupid phone call last night!)

MadMarco still has the car I believe but I havent seen him in about 3-4 years (at a Zedfest or LakeZ meet). He hangs around more on the Z-Club site.

Dazvert still has his black very and the other car that has a 99-spec bumper on it. He alway's busy doing building stuff these days

So Chris currently lives up my way, about half an hour away and is a Jag lover (which I almost set on fire a couple of years back with a chinese flying lantern thing lol). Chris is doing really well but the car sold to a guy who is on facebook. The car is a little run down but I'd say it's in good hands at the minute.

My memory is terrible but does anyone remember a green LWB with a beautiful cream leather interior by a Rolls Royce trimmer ?

_CJ_

CJ's car is still alive, but stripped with no engine and that in. I was in talks about the possibility of buying it a year or so ago to use as my re-shell. However, due to the back lights and the fact I would have to change them, I thought it would be too much of a ball arch.

It currently sits in a shed at Paul's house. Here's some current photos...

Steve300ZX

Steve is from my area too, he had this lovely green TT. The interior (which cost him a bomb), was done in Ferrari Crème by a dude here in Sunderland called Kish. Kish is famous for trimming one of David Beckhams Bentleys. Steves interior was real nice for anyone that saw it in the flesh. Funnily enough, my blue wide arch I bought has a Kish interior too. The car was sold several years ago but I'm not sure where it is now
