Does anyone know any of the proper names of the various cloths used in the Z32 throughout the production run...?

I'm not talking "Tweed" or "Velour" here - I mean the actual names that Nissan use to identify the different fabrics used.

I'm hoping Andrew or Funky (or other old skoolers) will be able to help with this one :)

Early UK cars (Euro tweed) was called 'Monaco Cloth'.

I'm afraid I only have an early UK catalogue. UK cars didn't come with velour, so for something comprehensible, the name of that one is probably best sourced from US sources.

The velour was called ‘セクシーなベロアの快適さ’ in Japanese. The leather option was called ‘汗ばむようなお尻の太もも’.

Simon, this image is from the '89 Japanese launch brochure. The text in red is the Google (android) translation of the Japanese text below.

The Japanese text at the bottom of the image says that when the body colour is dark blue (TH1) the interior is blue. For all other body colours

the interior will be off-black. Leather seats are manufacturer's options.

She's so fine, there's no tellin' where the money went - Simply irresistible.

I think they only used one colour on the the zeds with the Ironing board type spoiler (the one before the 99 spec spoiler) I've never seen anything different
