I've always admired my dad's UK white 300ZX TT Auto that he has owned from new since 1991. With about 10k miles, always garaged and pretty much as new, he finally has sold it to me as he had a stroke a couple of years ago.

I'm very excited to own it. It is completely original.

It has not turned a wheel in two years and not yet in my possession but that will change in a week or so when I get around to trailering it from his place 50 miles away.

Decided to join here. I am a serial modder of cars so will have to resist the urge. I did promise my dad I wouldn't mess with it.... :o

So basically saying hello and will get pics up once she is in my possession.

Welcome mate. Let's play roulette and see if it runs [emoji16]

Pretty sure it will be fine.

I wont' chance it though. We'll just push it onto a trailer and then my mechanic will change all the fluids, check everything etc. first in the workshop.

Sounds like a loved car and a credit to your dad. Good luck with it mate, can't wait to see some pics!!!

Welcome great your keeping it in the family, look forward to seeing such a low mileage UK Z.

Hi and welcome Tony!!

As said, great to see a UK-spec car with just 10k miles; that will certainly be a keeper mate, so congratulations on your new acquisition...

And with a car so special, you'd certainly be wise to avoid over-modifying; a Zed like that will be worth a lot in the years to come, as these cars get more rare!! You're not a million miles from me either - Reading is about 30 minutes away...

......And if your Zed needs some specialist care, then Jimmer is about 45 minutes west of you, along the M4.....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Thanks for the kind welcome everyone. I’ll get pics and more details up once I physically collect the car from my dads and safely into storage with my other cars.

Picked her up today. Starts and runs absolutely fine. Needs a few things done. Full service, refinish all the wheels, new tyres (ones on it are made in 1990!) couple of minor paint things easy to resolve and the vinyl on the passenger has delaminated where the handle is which also is easy to sort. Everything else is great. Mileage is 10.3k

Mechanic used to work on them so that’s handy. Clearly only had dry miles as exhausts are fine and even have their factory stickers on which are still readable!

Have to find somewhere to host pics.

I have to say, it looks like one of the cleanest original unrestored uk zeds I've ever seen.

Great to see original leather seats in nearly new condition !! love it .

Mot advisory "Rear wheel steering inoperative but rear wheels are held substantially in the straight ahead position and the steering is not adversely affected "

Confused tester not understanding the super hicas system, bet he was thinking its like the Honda version on Preludes that works when stationary. !!

Will need a recommission to get the best from it though, get it to Jim at Powerzed you will be happy you did.

Jeff

Great looking UK car you have inherited.

Have you considered joining the club and becoming a subscribed member, its well worth the £20.00

Amazing....

It sure is - and with only 10k miles, that's about as factory fresh as you're going to get nowadays!!!

Congratulations on your (very) new UK spec - what a sight to behold! Please keep your promise...

Yes indeed - and if you cannot resist the urge to modify it, might I suggest you sell the white one to me and buy yourself another to molest...

But congratulations on the acquisition mate; that car will become ever-more desirable for sure:thumbup:
