Can someone let me know if I were to replace non powered seats with a pair of powered ones, are the connections already there and just need hooking up or if not what are the options? Thanks all in advance

I'm now sure of wiring if the non powered are both sides, but if it's powered drivers only there will not be power passenger side, and you will have to splice the power from the drivers side and run it to the passenger side.

If it was a Z without powered seats then no, the wiring will not be there. If you have an S1 with a powered drivers' seat then it's easier as all you need to do is a run a spur over the transmission tunnel. I managed to get a passenger connector and bit of harness from am S2 and just soldered it in in series.

Thanks Si and Alic

Ok, so it looks like there will be no connections as the car coming over doesn't have powered seats. so is there a way that I can get powered seats to work?

I'm pretty sure it just takes a 12v power? You could probably find which pins are which and wire power to them.

See attached diagrams for powered seats and Fuse Block Junction Box (located driver's footwell). The

connector M12 pin 3 (marked with red arrow) is the factory take off point (white wire) for the powered

seats and includes the circuit breaker (also marked in red). You will need to see if the CB is installed as

you didn't have powered seats from the factory.

Same with my old Na.

Passenger one won't be there. Lee has just made my electric passenger seat work by splicing into the drivers electrics.
