Engine weight

Here's one that may be a little tricky. Or I could be wrong.

 

What's the weight of the TT engine. Trying to work out what the best Engine Stand is too buy.

 

Thought I'd narrow it down a little by hopefully finding the weight of the engine.

    I've got a recollection of someone saying 270kg when I looked for one. Make sure it's got a good reach as mine wouldn't have reached if I didn't have the front bumper removed

    Got bumper gone makes life easier.

     

    I sort of found a yank site stating 360 pounds. Either way a half ton hoist and stand will be more than capable I think.

    They weight a damn site more fully dressed il tell you that. I've got around 200-250kg dressed in my head. I know I can't lift one but I can shuffle one about :lol:

    Got it out with a hoist. Yet to buy a stand. But yes mighty heavy fully dressed. Shuffled it around in the garage.
