I had the same happen to me years ago when i had the caps with the Z on the top, i actually caught the little scrote red handed when i looked out the bedroom window, he'd gone by the time i got out the door though:thumbdown:

I didn't know kids still did this. Lads at my school used to pinch all four off your car, keep two for there bike then sell the other two to another slightly more honest (less brazen) kid for couple of quid. Gave them some money for sweets, fags etc. I didn't think enough of these little snowflakes went outside to still pull this trick.

I've had two sets of Zed ones pinched off my car. Finally got a set with a locking screw

Mine have locking screws but I leave them loose. I would rather they pinch the caps or they will damage the alloy or car if they find them locked on. £5 buys you a new set.

Yup - they still do.....!

I had two nicked off my AMG outside my office a few weeks ago. They also pinched all four from the company owner's i8 this week.....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I know I shouldn't, but I happen to think the same Gaz!

A few years back, I had some nice MB branded caps on my black SLK. The little scrote who tried pinching one, must have got disturbed, stood up too quickly and scratched the paint as he tried to get away.

Like you say, only £5 for a new set - but I tend to leave the plain plastic ones on now, as I'd rather the little turds just didn't go near my cars:sad:
