Tried but not had much success, soooo.....

Thanks for trying Steve its not an easy job and you have to take a lot of disappointment when no one or very few members join you at shows. I guess I am used to it over here for different reasons as there are no members near me to join me but I make up for it by tagging along with other Jap clubs. Keep the faith mate and thanks again for trying.

Thanks guys, didn't realise that it was so hard to get you guys to come out and play no matter how big or small an event. Ill still post events that I attend, you never know.

If only I was the kind of person to say what was really on my mind......

It's a mixture between low numbers in the area (even less on here than Facebook), and a large number of cars of the road.

Agreed, but loads know Lee, so why go through me? I have no opinion on any of the situations and I don't even know what's going on (Lee hasn't told me!!) and I have not taken anyone's side including Lees, its not my business or problem...so why the sarcasm and immaturity on every one of my threads when comments have been made. No need.

The fact that there are only a few members at an Event you nominate is not in any way a failure on your part.

With around 200 members nationally there are never going to be big numbers at anything...anywhere.

The membership is scattered over a huge area. The make up of membership is equally diverse.

I have just got used to publicising events I attend and being the only 300ZX there.

I used to do 1/4miles at york regularly for several seasons

Nobody else ever came.

Look at my "three Sisters"Track Attack event posts.. same thing just me there.

Trax!!! at Silverstone....Look at the respnse....there isnt one.

 

I did "Classic Car" type stuff back in the late 90s with my 240Z....now I have moved on so you wont ever find me turning up at the "park on grass n polish it" events that appear popular now in this club.

 

If/when you meet me for those panels I have I will explain a little to you about the "Portugese problem" :lol:

Im in no rush about the panels. Whenever suits.Will be at Croft Circuit sat 2nd so not at home LOL!! Apart from that Im around.

Very sad to see you step down Steve - but respect your decision to do so. On behalf of the club and committee, I thank you for your efforts - you did a fine job mate; and one that is not always easy.

Ok firstly, I am only posting here to answer what is been asked and not to be sarcastic, mean or disrespectful to Steve or the forum, and genuinely sad the REO work did not work out for you, it has always been a hard task that now with lower numbers, and everyone with busy lives it is a tough job how ever amount of enthusiasm and time you dedicate to it and virtually impossible to make it work... I know.

You were not alone, I used every avenue I could including you and several other people / messages / e-mails to open up a dialogue with Lee, you were not targeted although I admit some words could be seen as of a sarcastic nature.

Please share with us all Pete, after all this is the core reason that the problem has occurred.
