After a 5 year secondment to Subaru im finally back in a Zed........ and what a zed..

Picked up Darren's mint silver z on sat and couldn't be happier, after spending some time really looking over the car its amazing the level of detail and just how much work he put into her.

Wow doesn't quiet cover it.

Thanks Darren it was great to meet you and I promise I will look after her.... already ordered a few bits for the engine bay, skins and rear cover :)

TBH i was looking for a Supra but saw Darren's car and it changed my mind. A 300 was going to be a stop gap until I found the right Supra but I think I found the right 300 instead.

Supra's are fast and easier to work on but the shape is not for me. You now own a very unique 300zx.

Yes agreed, for now im going to continue Darrens plans and do a manual conversion, tidy up the engine bay and take it to about 400bhp. maybe next year it will go wide, not sure on that one yet.

does this mean you're abandoning the sub wagon mate? Or going to run both cars? :)

The wagon has already been broken, had it 5 years and spent nearly 40k on her which is nuts. was time for a sensible approach and a new toy to play with,

that's a shame mate, was a great car. But yeah I know what you mean, fair play to you for biting the bullet and starting fresh. Good luck with this Z - it looks lovely.
