I'm just after people's opinions on the rear of the blue car. It's one of the things I've remained unsure on. Initially, I was quite set on changing them to 99spec style light but Most bypassers locally seem to like the back lights on this better than the more traditional ones. So now I'm just not sure.

What do people think

I would agree too as mentioned.

Stay OEM, either the OEM Orange indicator, or clear/white indicator.

You do well with the Photoshop! How good can you do with photoshop with OEM wheels, maybe making OEM wheels 17" front 18" rear

Here’s a quick attempt on my phone! All guesswork on the sizing and I guess they may be slightly larger than 18”? I just stretched the size of the wheels so the PCD would have also increased making it even more inaccurate but you get the idea. I also added a cheeky bit subtle drop to the suspension as it needed it!

The UK ZX TT had slightly dished in rims on the rear.

The way Bird did the photoshop would look well with OEM 17" front and 18" REAR slightly dish in.

The rear lights are a key feature of the rear of the Z, without those, it loses its identity.

As for larger OEM wheels, I need to pull my finger out and get a set sent over to Poland to have the faces machined to be engineered into 18" split rims.

Would love to see a set of OEM 18" split rims. Any idea on the costs involved Si?

These are the nearest I can find but they are not handed and not sure they would fit well.

Not really, but I can't imagine you'll see change from about £2k.

I am also trying to see if I can find an engineering shop here that would take on the challenge. You can buy bare barrels from BBS, RAYS and other split rim manufacturers and then have the face CNC machined to fit. I'd use NA/Jap wheels all round as you'd be able to get a slightly deeper dish on the rear.

I was looking for some used barrels for a while just to check out measurements and fitment. It's working out the measurements that'll be the most time consuming thing.

http://Www.Augmentwheels.com will do them. They have reproduced various Porsche wheels in different sizes and they look proper.

It’ll be expensive, but it’s certainly possible to do it

***edit*** about $4000 before shipping expensive for forged aluminium wheels, so compatible to top end wheels

Nice range of barrels

I know somewhere stateside that will do them, but not over here

They're Canada, not the US. ;)

I didn't do the photoshop mate. I tried playing with photoshop a few times, but I'm lazy haha.

I agree the 99 spec lights would be best, but think I'm going for the lad ones for now... they're sitting in the passage

Sorry can admin help on last reply lol

I tried to upload a photo instead of that music.

If had to go for a set up; i'd like the black Strosek one. That rear bumper and twin deffsuser looks fantastic....

I think they both look great !!!

Yeah the Strosek setup its just perfect. I was close to buying one before I got a super deal on the nsx otherwise I would have bought one. Might go for one yet. From looking at a complete standard Strosek car, using allot of OEM parts it's superb. Like having a good amount of original brochures, I have the Strosek one too.
