How accurate is Blitz Powermeter? To u get correct hp?

By the way. Powermeter shows hp or rwhp?

Mine shows 340 at 10.2 PSI and 414 at 14.8 PSI. If is rwhp I believe is completely wrong.

Also how much Kg you have set it up? Mine is 1620 and also I have it at 0 for the other setup (dont know what is called. But is related to the error correction).

What u guys get?

In answer NOT.. there are far to many variables to take into account to get an accurate figure. it would not be a bad guess but no where near.

I set mine up using a weighbridge, and all the correct settings, took it on the dyno day and it over read by 80 bhp according to the dyno run.

Plus i have had my Clocks set up with a different speedo ect (more accurate) and the id metre was always of.

Plus of course you could cheat by fiddeling the figures you get.

Error correction is +0

Weight you should really drive onto a weigh bridge with yourself in the car.

The problem is that you have to calibrate the power meter at 25 mph and if you do it with your speedo the speedo may be only 2mph out at 25 but that will mean your power meter will be reading 8mph out at 100mph due to the accumulative error. As the power meter only times the pulses from the gearbox speed sensor it will be very accurate if it is set up with a GPS and not your speedo. Stock speedos will never be very accurate it doesnt matter what you do to them.

If you get an exact weight and true speed calibration then the power reading should be quite accurate to. Because if you know the time taken to accelerate a given mass to a given velocity you can calculate the power expended to do this unless of course the laws of physics are incorrect!!

In fact it possibly gives you a more 'real world' reading as your car has to fight wind resistance, road friction and has more air forced through the intercoolers when moving.

If you set it up correctly Blitz claim it is accurate to within 3% and I can't imagine them saying that if it's so shit as to read +-80bhp?!?!

I've got one on mine but I can't get the speed to calibrate (probably the speed convertor interfering) so I'll have to re-wire it.

I got my Z weighed at a company I visit.

With me, half a tank of fuel and a bodykit it weighed 1740KG.

I think the meter needs the weight in pounds doesn't it?

Did you convert this Nitro?

1620KG is 3571.5lbs

Mine comes out at 3836lbs.

It is not far out,my mate has a Scooby do,302bhp on the rollers and 300bhp on the ID meter, needs setting up correct to be accurate though.

im not saying its shit, its a really nice piece of kit. I just found it way out on my car, and i had done the calibration as accurately as i could (like Paul says GPS if you can get hold of it) and it was quite a way of.
