My silver tt has developed quite a coolant leak following a spirited drive. It seems to be coming from the underside of the plenum at the left hand side at the back corner. I can see a rubber hose which appears to be the place where the leak is coming from. The question is, do I need to remove the plenum to change it?

Wow, that is quite a procedure! Why not just replace the offending hose? How difficult could it be?

It's just a point of failure and getting to those pipes is a nightmare if in some cases not possible without plenum removal.

Why not link out the offending piece as temporary measure until another job that requires plenum removal comes about. Just a bit fiddly.
