Good job indeed, does begs the question why it caught fire, no petrol or sump full of oil ? be a battery fire for sure! so basically not fit for purpose if catches fire on a roll over crash ?? then it was a concept car.

Hammond could crash and burn any car Jeff :biggrin: . But its a great job for a car enthusiast so hope he recovers soon.

Same reason Samsung phones where blowing up I guess. Your right though does seriously Flag up the safety card.

He's certainly used one or two of his "9 lives" in the last few years....!

 

Glad to see Mr Hammond is OK though; "only" escaping with a fractured knee.... I'm reading his book at the moment, seems he's always had that dare-devil streak!!!
