Just curious do women actually like the look of the Z or is it just a mans thing? From my experience women hate it, they think its too big. Any comments. I love them though.

My missus loves it and a few of my girl friends also love the look of it.

My girlfriend likes it but wouldnt drive it.

 

There are 1 or 2 women Z owners on here too.

Since I had my Z (15 moths) i took more than 50 women (most of them Russians) for a ride. --- Well not only for a ride :) :) :) ----- Most of them wanted to take pictures at the hood or take a shot with their camcorders and generally speaking they like it.

 

Now maybe its only Russians. Dont know.

 

But to tell you the truth. Z looks very aggressive. Especially with WingWest Body kit on. And agression is something that guys have by nature. As for the majority of the girls I believe that they prefer something like MBW, Mercedes. Women like to show off.

 

But who gives a damn. They also love mini skirts. That doesnt mean that we have to wear them.

I thought the bigger the better!:) But its not the size it's what you do with it that counts!;)

The Z is a legend, its a classic, so unbelievable how such a big can seem like a small car in terms of handling.

 

Looks wise i love them in all their forms, kits or no kits. Old but a classic shape.

I remember the last day at W2C Rally here in my country I parked my Z at the park where all the teams had their cars. That day 1000's of people attend to see the final seremony (or whatever that is called).

 

Every time i looked at my Z there were people around taking pictures. One time I saw a guy kissing the hood. hehe.

My gfs adore it, and can sometimes be seen just stood there staring at it thru the window, and two girls in a zx (citroen mind) stopped outside my drive, pointed at the zed then drove off nodding and passenger looking back???? not had anyone take photo yet tho, cant help but think thats a bit sad:( :( :( :confused: :D

Well, I'm 35, grey and overweight and still get plenty of girls looking and waving at me in the Z. Problem is when I get out of the car they all run away screaming.:confused:

I get young lads with skateboards come up to me grinning shyly and saying how lovely my car is, my girlfriends say the car suits me perfectly, though they feel intmidated by it, its not for every woman , mind not for every man either...

 

i like long cars, my zed is long

i couldn't drive a baby sports car is too weeny I want somit thats got oomph and is bloody big, yet looks gorgeous

and it turns heads:D

 

 

thats why i like the Zed its unusual, the fact that not many women drive them is a shame

Of course women love the Zed! :D First thing I thought when I saw one pass me was "oooh....I want one of those!"

 

My mum hates it and won't drive it to save her life, but for me, it's perfect. I've got a friend who loves to come driving with me as she likes the way that I throw the Zed around like a toy.

 

Women are "conditioned" to like understated things and we're not supposed to like cars. We're supposed to like shopping and changing the colour of our nails and "sweet" cars like the SMART (hack spit) or somesuch... :rolleyes:

 

I'm glad I don't fit into that mould! :D

Well, that's the female contingent of the Zed board polled... :D

 

As Emero and myself are the only 2 (as far as I am aware) girls that own their Zeds outright, it either means that females don't drive that many Zeds, or they read this board for a bit and get scared off. ;) :D

My wife had to drive my Z today as her car has died. She wasn't too happy about the idea but she has come home with a big grin on her face:D Probably never see my Z now!!

Funny, she has gone from hating it to loving it. She said that it's my driving that put her off the car when I got it:eek:

Just as an aside ... in both of my previous Z's the only time they reached speeds of over 140 mph was when Mrs John-Boy was driving them ... naughty girl ... me, I'm too much of a wuss, worrying about silly things like my driving licence!:D :D

 

I wouldn't say she exactly loves the Z, preferring something a little newer and shinier - I've told her she's got no soul, but to be fair, she is "supportive" of my need to own a Z;)

 

Plenty of the ladies at work like the motor, though!:D

my good lady hated every tiny thing about my zed, looks, sound, style, everyone looking, fuel etc etc THEN used it to poodle to tescos, took 1.5 hours, me crapping myself looking at watch!!

NOW is looking at autotrader website every day AND has already advertised 325i in paper.

 

She has said she IS gonna get one, and soon:confused:

when i first pulled up into work, the shop hadnt opened and one girl said ooh thats lovely, er what is it.

 

people think that i should be mega rich and wear armani suits or something, an when i explain that it cost half the price of a new fiesta there like omg, i agree they look an awful lot of car.

 

one girl a work once said, are u trying to get a role in miami vice or something, previous car being a mk3 supra. i just laughed and said i like big cars, she said they dont come much bigger than that do they.

Most people can't figure out what it is, especially from the rear.

The weirdest one I've had is getting into my car & some bird told me 'I want to fvck your car!' :confused: :D :D

My (sort of ex) wife loved it but refused to drive it because it was too powerful (guess she hated me though).

 

Gave my mum a life in it a month or so back and all she complained about was how low it was !

Ok, so my mum hates it, she kinds of aims her bum at the passenger seat and then, in a do-or-die kind of fashion, falls into the car. My ex didn't like anything about it, the looks or the sound. I've had my Z nearly about 2 1/2 years and thats seen 2 girlfriends, both of which, on reflection, loved it at first but then after a while tried to make me sell it, saying how "my" money could be better spent! ...........they had to go.

Ooops, that'll be my Guinness-powered typing ! ;)
