Another tragic loss today.

Not as nearly as good a bond as Sean but I loved live n let die.

Personalty I think Daniel Craig has been the best Bond to date, but as a die hard Bond fan and having seen every one of the Moore films growing up as a teen it's sad to hear this news.

For me also "Live n let die" remains my favourite of his films it also features the best soundtrack of any bond film to date.

RIP Mr Moore. gone to join the Saints!

I agree on that when it comes to the new direction the bonds films have taken.

If you look back and watch some of the old movies they all seem dead cheesy to me.

Actually, RM was my favourite Bond. The right amount of dry humour and cheesiness. Favourite Bond film was The Spy Who Loved Me. Connery is a very close second, but RM was just awesome, especially when dealing with Jaws!

I almost agree - Pierce Brosnan was my favourite. But only just; as he could aspire to the wit of Sir Roger but maintained the action of Sean Connery. Thing is though, Sir Roger was THE bond of my era whilst growing up - and maintained that true English gentleman spy persona like no other. And for that, and what Simon said, he will always be head and shoulders above Sean, Daniel, Timothy and George.....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
