I don't have either of them here to compare, well, one I do. I assume they're handed to fit the rods as they'll actuate in reverse. I can't for the life of me remember whether they are or not?

 

Does anyone have a photo of both from reverse or at least be able to confirm whether they're handed or not?

Thanks - although my quadrants are the rarer steel type which are symmetrical.

 

Actuation will still be different.

....actually, I can see the difference, even with the different quadrant. That should help, thanks. :)

Thanks PolioJ. Doesn't look very 'Z32', although I trust it is and I assume that the rule of thumb is that the quadrant should always point to the front of the car.

....actually no! Andy's photo shows the quadrant at the rear, your photo dictates the quadrant should be facing forward! Back to square 1!

I didn't realise you were after the rule of thumb, here it is demonstrated with Flemings right hand rule:
