Bought a set of hybrid turbos which myself and the seller presumes were good.

 

Further inspection it looks as if the blades on the turbos are damaged so now i'm in need of some advice.

 

Preferably I would like to keep them so what would it take to replace the blades or the full cores if needed.

 

This is only one of the cores and I've not yet inspected the other.

 

Looks to me as if its debris damage of some sort.

I believe they are JWT500 Hybrids.

That really depends on what turbo it is, few hundred each side for a journal bearing turbo. If it's a BB style turbo I'm afraid most of the time that's a new CHRA which is more expensive. Sorry.

Was talking to Jimmer and he reckons £550 for the pair of them to be rebuilt by Midlands Turbo. That's the only place he uses:yes:.

440 plus vat to refurb and warranty them both, now fixed and packaged up to be sent back to me.
