Greetings Z enthusiasts! collecting my first Fairlady Tomorrow!

Just thought I would introduce myself and say hello!

Hopefully I'll be driving all the way up to Sheffield from London Tomorrow after it's had its MOT done (Road Trip)

I want to use it as my daily car that is why I have gone with a manual na, obviously I'm not concerned about power just want to drive a lovely iconic Japanese JDM.:chinese:

This is the advert

Nissan 300zx N/A manual LOW MILES, RECENT CAMBELT

Hello, i am very very reluctantly selling my Nissan 300zx z32.

I bought her last August with the hope of keeping as an investment/weekend car but I have 4 cars at the minute and unfortunately, as much as I really want to keep it, its going to have to go!

The car has covered just 139000KM which works out at just over 87000 miles which is obviously absolutely nothing for a Nissan, especially when fitted with the vg30 v6 engine.

Never misses a beat, drives superb, Japanese import, imported in 2006, very quick despite being the none turbo, they still put out 222bhp and coupled with the rare 5spd manual it really is fantastic fun to drive! Car is completely standard, standard wheels, standard exhaust, it's even still limited to 112mph and still chimes at over 105kph as this is the speed limit in Japan. Rare to find these as original as this and that haven't been molested and in a lot of cases, ruined in my opinion.

Bad bits

No history before my ownership (common with imports as would all be in Japanese)

-The passenger window button doesn't work.

-The paint on the bonnet lets the car down and if I'm honest needs respraying.

-There are a few scratches around the car and a small dint on the passanger door.

There is also a small 2cm bit of rust on the off side rear arch but this is the only bit of rust anywhere on the car.

Overall the car is a perfect baseline for what could be an absolutely stunning low mileage classic car. It's completely standard, has had everything done that usually causes concern with these cars, is manual and except for red is in the best and I'd say most desirable colour. These are only going to go upwards in price aswell.

If I get the asking price or very close to it I will put FULL MOT on the car as I'm confident it will want nothing!

All sounds very well, I also asked all the questions which is on the buyer's guide so not to be disappointed on such a long trip!

I'm really looking forward to collecting it!

I'm very lucky to have this as well as my VVTI HKS T04Z Supra jza80:clap:

When you get it, check that the button in front of the window switches on the driver's side isn't depressed - if it is, that will stop the passenger window from working. Hopefully the fix is that easy for you! :thumbup1:

Hello my Z Brothers I'm back on the scene.

Sorry I disappeared but i was disappointed with that long journey I made to pick up that Z!

After three hours of driving up north to have a look at the Black Z it was in a dire state had a couple of big dents on the roof paint was horrendous interior was pretty bad looked like there was a rat's nest just behind the radiator! electrics were not working very well.

So I thought I'll take it for a test drive now i'm at the place was only out 10 minutes car felt lifeless tired and to be frank lucky to make it back to the guy's house! it definitely wouldn't have got back to London that's for sure... I was so disappointed because of the long journey that I made and the guy said everything was good which obviously it wasn't.

I'm currently trying to contact Peter McDonald with regards to his SWB that is currently up for sale, I've sent them a email and text message but I've not heard nothing back but hopefully we can work something out and I can go and get it?

Hope everyone had a good Christmas and has a prosperous New Year.

I've not heard nothing back

So you have heard something then? ;)

Bad luck with the car. It isn't easy finding a tidy one, depending on your budget, it might be prudent to get one imported. You'll have a much greater chance of getting something good.

This is a fresh import, well, not that fresh as it's been for sale for a good few months so you might find they will accept offers on it.

Hello Thanks But Motorhub! stay away from them a lot of bad stories about them. was thinking of importing one? i want SWB without the T top. see how it goes with Peter.

Oh yeah, they are or were Keighly I think. Yes, avoid. Apologies!

Sounds like that one might be better than the turd you ended up driving 3hrs to go and see though.

My SWB TT Tin Top might fit the bill.....
