Is it intentional now that you have to be subscribed to see where meets are and things for sale?

 

Both these sections used to be open to anyone

 

I would have thought that letting people know where to meet us would help numbers, and car for sale adds are of limited use if only people who already have cars can see them

Classifieds are open to all to view and the meets are also in the public area.

Where are you looking ?

Click the classifieds button on the top toolbar will take you directly to the selling section which is in a public viewable area :)

I meant... I thought you could see a lot more forum without logging in

Only the main public section is viewable when not logged in.

 

Events and classifieds are Public area's but are seperate from the main 'Public Forum' section.

 

Your correct in that they dont show up until you login but that is how its always been.

 

Its done like this to protects members data from search bots that scan forums for email addresses and phone numbers.
