1993 SWB TT Slicktop Very Rare Car and just 10,000 on the clock

Well Ladies and Gents. Here for your perusal is an absolute monster

The Very Rare Short Wheel Base Slicktop Twin Turbo Automatic.

Registered in Japan 5th April 1993, and as you will see from the pictures is in simply stunning original condition. Everything about this car is original. The wheels, the Exhaust, The Body, and everything else.

And to cap it off it has only done just under 10,000 miles since new. I had the car JEVIC inspected to confirm the mileage was true, and it came back with a certificate to show that the mileage is absolutely correct.

I have had this car for some time, but have waited until now to release it as it needed some things attending to. As you hopefully all know, I have a motto which states that I would not release a car that I wouldn't be happy to own myself, and this car needed some love and attention.

Because it has basically sat around in Japan for many years and not covered many miles, things had started to deteriorate, and I have taken my time and had them all replaced before allowing the car to become available.

So the first thing that needed to be addressed was that both top hoses had started to perish, so these were replaced, along with the water pump which had a leaky seal, again due to non use. Whist the top hoses were being done, I asked my mechanic to replace the timing belt, as he already had the front off. Luckily when he checked the old one, it was found to be pitted and was showing signs of starting to perish, so the timing belt has now been changed.

The two rear shocks were weeping, again due totally to lack of use, and these have been replaced.

4 New Hancook Tyres fitted because the originals had started to crack on the walls

Finally I have has new Plugs, filters etc installed and the car given a service, and it is now in perfect working order.

The car will be given a brand new MOT before the new owner takes the car.

So This incredible vehicle is now ready for a new challenge, and quite frankly who ever gets her will be getting an almost brand new car. 10,000 miles in 24 years means just over 415 miles per year

No RUST!! . All of the sills and wheel arches are just perfect and underneath is also in top order

If anyone is looking for a totally unmolested car with the original 'everything' then this should be the one to aspire to.

In addition it has the electronic climate control and cruise control as added options

Naturally with a 24 year old car there are going to be a few minor surface scratches, but even these are at a bare minimum, just a few tiny stone chips and surface marks on an otherwise gleaming black gloss surface

There is one little paint blemish on the near side wing at the front where the paint has starred, and the off side corner of the rear spoiler has a little bubbling under the surface. The are all very minor, but worth pointing out

The interior is all original too. The radio cassette works , and all of the electrics work as they should do, including the folding mirrors

There cannot be many better early examples than this

Cruise control? Didn't think slicktops ever had that?

Looks really nice, shame about the auto box, but if I hadn't spent my money fixing mine I'd have been all over this...

Glwts.

I'm very tempted, but i'm told i'm not allowed another one, anyone want to buy a slightly tired red manual tt slicktop so i'm allowed this?

My 93 slicktop came with cruise control. I believe every option on the Targa was available for the slicktop....well, except the Targa blinds

It has the normal S2 spec..passenger electric seats, seat belts on body, directional air con, fresher looking fog light lenses and turn signals..ect ect. Imho an early S2 was the best year and model for the spec list and after 94 started going down hill. I hope who ever buys this car keeps its originality as there cant be many left so untouched. Very nice zed i must say:yes:

Dribble.....for me, this is the Holy Grail of Z32's, seriously would like to get my hands on this incredible car.

How does that work?

The vents are designed to push air into the brakes. When they are back to front they don't work

Thanks for the heads up on the front wheels. Clearly the plums that fitted the new tyres, cocked up the replacing of the wheels. I will have it sorted. Eagle eyes to gaz300 for spotting it first!!

If there's anything you can count on Gary for, it's spotting that

Ok so now someone just needs to stump up £9k for a near new 300zx. Its on Ebay and the 300zx facebook marketplace. Actually I would rather it go to someone on the forum who is looking for a totally stock example. Lets face it you can play all your old cassette tapes
