Scuttle replacement

Have bought replacement scuttle panels- what tool(s) are best for removing the fixings without damaging the fixings?

    Seem to remember doing men with a small screwdriver and needle nose pliers. You can buy new fixings if you damage them, Mike Fenny sells them.
