My windscreen washer bottle emptied itself whilst parked

I obviously know the filler pipe is in the boot.

Where is the actual bottle and the pump?

Ie do I remove boot trim or wheel arch cover or somewhere else?

In case you haven't got round to finding it yet, it's immediately underneath where the filler hole is, back left.

Middle trim panel at the back has little thumb screws to pull it off, then the corner panel comes out with a few screws.

Mine kept emptying itself into the boot too, and I found it was a drain/overflow tube that comes off the filler siphoning the contents out of the bottle if I filled it too much!

Whether that's standard or not, I do not know.

I got it out, couldnt find anything wrong and put it back

The little hose at the top is connected to the top of the bottle and to the filler tube. Is this what you mean?

On SWB the rear bottle and pump for screen washers, the bottle feeds right up to the RH front corner of the car where there is another pump to feed back to the screen washers. On a car I owned years ago the spigot for one of the pipes on this hidden pump broke off and the bottle would empty when the car was pointing slightly downhill. Access is through the RH front wheel arch - remove the liner to access the space ahead...
