Couldn't stretch to an R35 this time and I'm not interested in any of the other Skylines.

I'll give you a clue the engine is more than double the cyl capacity of the 300zx...

Please tell me it's not a Chrysler.....

how about an old bmw 850ci with its v12 :detective:

Still not 6 litres though, I don't think.....!

Either way, good luck with the new toy Dean - and post up a few pics for us....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Correct early ones had a 5L v12 with 300hp and later ones a 5.6L with 380hp. Beautiful cars, weigh nearly 1.8 tonnes though. There was also a 840 with a 4L v8.

your not going to the dark side of the pond and getting a car that cannot go round corners ... pls say it aint so :stupid:

Pretty sure they are 355CI so under 6 litres. My guess is a C63.

Since the 300zx is 2960cc, double that is 5920cc..... So technically, it could be something just under the 6.0....!

Alright vorderman

Holden to be precise re-badged to Vauxhall, I would be inclined to get the Holden badges reinstated !! lol

Jeremy Clarkeson loved the original Monaro and the VXR8 is even better, straight forward tech no silly frills and plenty of side ways action if you want it !

They sound awesome, followed one from the workskhop when going home a good few times and looked and sounded soooo

goood !!

What colour you getting ??

I did try bidding on two in Manheim auctions, but they are fetching huge sums of money at the moment. In the end I managed to find the exact combination I wanted from a HSV specialist

Good buy Dean, really smart cars with brilliant engines. If zed values continue to rise and I can get sorta 5-6k for mine then there's the real possibility I may purchase the earlier shape one. I couldn't spring to that shape for a toy and the Mrs wouldn't be too happy it being the family car, the visits to the petrol station would activate the moan sensors.

Where's the pics??? In fact where's the video?? Love the sound of a V8:thumbup:

Best of luck with it and don't forget to update us with pics and vid:thumbup1:

All forthcoming, I am picking it up tomorrow. I thought the guessing game would last longer than it did to be fair. Simon and Jeff are too wise.
