Guys, I've been away form the forum for a while but getting the zed back on the road this year and planning on getting my ECU mapped in the next few months. I'm trying to get hold of Noel but not having any luck. Do you know if he is still trading? Phones just ring out/answerphone and I've had no reply to messages sent...

No, but I'm sending my car there at some point later in the year. As Andrew has suggested a number of recent builds have gone there with fabulous results.

What is you engine build spec? is it a full mapping session or just a chip and boost upgrade your looking for?

As far as I know it's standard internally, just filter and exhaust, boost controller etc..I've got a general chip fitted but would like to know I'm getting the most I can safely out of her...

Didn't edviss buy one of his chips so were the best place to buy a stage 1 chip

Not sure what has happened to him. All I know is that he stopped posting here and is to busy working to post the banner back. Mark has gone quite also so I guess he is busy to. I know we all like to fool about on the forum (me also) but we need to keep it above board to stop any slander so a thread clean will start soon. ;)

Last I saw Mark is more interested in Ford Focus than Zeds as his place is littered with them and doesn't he own one now after getting rid of his zed.

There are a few zed specialists within the country like Lee Dent and Mikey Bean with Jimmer@powerzed being highly regarded too. There has been a whole history of spanner monkeys causing a lifetime of damage to Zeds and good garages that closed. These days though you have to really dig deep to find opinions and experiences as a lot don't speak up and are silenced.

In terms of actual 'specialists', Jimmer (PowerZed) and Lee Dent (LA) are the only 'specialists'. Both have had great reputations right from the start.

 

I was PowerZed's first ever customer and have been using Jim ever since. His attention to detail, knowledge and skill are first rate and he's been responsible for some of the most powerful Z32s in the country, prior to PZ, Jim had all sorts of technical qualifications and spent many years rebuilding complex truck gearboxes, so has a wealth of engineering expertise.
