thats virtually the same as mine, and i paid 4k,

OK guys, it does need a new centre bearing and a new front bumper but that is it.

Hi Wedge, I paid £4750 for my 1990 ZXTT import with 45000 miles on the clock and apart from some very patchy Jap history it has no english history except for a couple of receipts for oil and plugs DIY fit. When I got it I have had to fit a cat1 alarm system and it needed 2 tyres plus full wheel allignment and a rear wheel bearing, oh and an oil pressure sender unit. Total cost up to now is about £5300 but worth every damn penny. My previous car was a sierra cosworth 4x4 and I spent much more on that and took a hit when I sold it.

My theory with the ZX is that it shouldn't lose much in value if I keep it in good shape(he say's hopefully)

Cheers

Glenn

Hi there i have ordered a Z 2 seater straight from Japan. Its a 1992 Twin turbo manual with 46,000 miles on the clock. It has an after market front bumper on it, an after market rear spoiler, Enkei 17" split rim alloys, after market exhaust, it has a boost gauge of some sort in the cock pit, it has dump valves fitted, and an after market air filter.

The car will cost me including MOT, tax and warranty £6000

Ray

Sounds like a good deal to me Ray. I often wonder if I paid slightly over the odds for mine.

Thanks for all of your replies guys. :)

I think it all depends on the actual car itself, you find a lot of rubish around so thats why i took the import route also i wanted a car with as many goodies on it as possible.

I sold my 1991 Z auto twin turbo three years ago for £7000, a bloke one year ago bought it for £5000, it was a nice one with 17" split rims on it and had an exhaust conversion. The wheels alone were werth £2500(gorgeous they were)

1990 cars are worth £5000-£5500

1991 cars are worth £5500-£6000

1992 cars are worth £6000+

I think thats right, but they have to be good cars to be worth this much.
