1994 UK manual 300ZXTT, 2 owners from new. £6,995 or very near offer!!

NOW £4995

05/May/1994 1st Registered Supplied to a banker in London as a company car on a 2 year lease.

01/May 1996 Bought from the lease company by the Banker and owned until I purchased

08/Dec 2001 Bought by myself and owned until present.

Service book shows 16 stamps all at Dan Perkins, Middlesex (Nissan Dealership) up to 94,073 miles, at which point I took over ownership and the servicing. (Wallet with original owners manual and service book will be supplied to new owner)

Throughout my ownership the car has only ever been a summer toy (only ever been taxed for 6 out of any 12 months) and has never seen a winter road. The car has also been garaged its entire life.

The car was purchased by me with slightly smoky exhausts and this was later put down to suspect turbo seals.

Over one winter, the engine was stripped to the last nut and bolt and rebuilt with all new genuine Nissan parts.

Pistons and Rings

Mains and crank bearings and seals

Camshaft bearings and seals

Valve stem oil seals

Oil Pump

Water pump

Full timing belt with all rollers

All aux belts

RPS Stage 1 clutch

Turbos sent to a specialist for full rebuilds.

The engine was in such good condition that at nearly 100K miles the Nissan honing marks could still be seen below the top 1/3 of the bores and all bores in as new tolerances. Crankshaft was also still in manufacturing tolerance of new.

The work was carried out by myself and a very clever mechanic who used to look after all my cars and was done with no expense spared as I had intended to keep the car forever.

All was perfect except that we ever so slightly nicked the A/C condenser and this wasn’t noticed until after the car was completed and run.

As the start of the summer had arrived, I put off replacing this and never got done so the A/C has never been used since. (Still have the replacement condenser rad here and it will be supplied with the car)

During my ownership the ECU was sent to Jim Wolf Technologies in the states and was fitted with his upgrade chip.

List of upgrades.

JWT Chip

Tokico Ilumina 5 way adj shocks

Mania Racing 18 inch wheels (originals also supplied with car)

345mm Dia Front discs (massive improvement)

Custom S/S Exhaust with X pipe by Torque Tube

Deleted Headlight washer jets (Pipework blocked off at bumper but easily reconnected)

Helix uprated clutch driven plate

Poly bushes to diff and rear subframe

Top hard pipe kit.

Adjustable camber arms ( new in bag) for front and rear will be supplied with the car to be fitted by the new owner.

Full set of poly bushes for complete suspension inc rack will be supplied also as never fitted.

During another winter off the road a good friend of mine with a body shop finally got round to his promise of stripping the car back to bare shell and repainting.

The paint was supplied by Specialist Paints, who had just started up having recently developed the Multi flip at DuPont and supplied me with an exact copy of their colour.

The colour is a rich blue on the face tone and flips depending on direction of the sun between Black and Gold at the extremes, with bronze and purple between.

The flip paint was applied over a straight black base coat and is extremely easy to blow in and match. I still have ½ litre of the original paint to go with the car. The paintwork is in near perfect condition except for a few bubbles on the rear spoiler as shown.

The sound was upgraded with Infinity speakers to the front and rear. Trial removable speaker shelf worked well and never replaced with a fully enclosed box as intended. A 12 disc JVC auto-changer and head unit supported by a pair of 660W Intimidator Amps.(1 amp supplies the front speakers, the other the back speakers)

The original T-Top bags are still in there correct place in the boot. The Targa sun shades are also present.

Full electric seats inc seat heaters. (As with everything else, all working perfectly)

Carpets in as new condition and supplied with the original Nissan car mats front and rear.

I intend to only advertise the car on this forum as I would like it to go to an enthusiast who will take it to the next level and not destroy it.

The car is garaged, SORN’d and not MOT’d at the moment. If anyone is interested I will insure it and put 12 months MOT on the car prior to collection.

Any info required please PM me.

OVN Offers will be considered but please, no low-ball ones.

Many other photos if required.

Hi Chris.

Sorry how Stupid am I!!

I had a load of photos, inc one with the mileage on, but could only upload 5 at a time.

Colour was originally a mid blue, sorry I don't know the Nissan code for it, so the V5 remains showing blue.

Mileage is 109934.

Hope that helps.

Lovely Zed mate......GLWS...

I would guess, being a '94 UK spec, that it was TK3 the same as mine.....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Hi Rich.

Thanks for your input and good wishes on the sale.

Just checked your album and I think you might be right. Yours does seem a bit "bluer" if that makes sense whereas mine from memory ( taking into account my dementia ) seemed a little more of a grey/blue but the shine on yours is better than mine originally was, so might be confusing me! (Not hard these days!?)

The respray, I assume if it was a bare metal respray it was an all glass out etc... Any pictures of the car before the paintwork, stripped down etc... Can you send them to my email address please along with others showing condition.

Hi Chris.

You are correct, the job was done with no expense spared.

I have no photos but I have a vhs video showing the entire process taken over a couple of months!

I will upload the rest of the current photos on here as replies tomorrow for the benefit of everyone.

You would be welcome to see the video here if you decided you were interested but I would not send it to you, hope you understand.

Original colour code will be on the VIN plate. If it was blue then look for TK3.

Good point, thanks, I'll take a look and confirm for the record.

Cheers.

Drivers seat side bolster has loss of colour but no real damage to the leather but could do with a re-stain.

Forgot to say in the original add that the car is also fitted with a Toad Alarm/immobiliser and anti-hijack function. Door locking and unlocking via keypad on the alarm fob.

New Nissan auto-retracting/extending aerial fitted and activated by the (removable face) JVC head unit.

For those interested in the original colour, it was, as some knowledgeable folk on here suggested, TK3.

Open to OVN offers as I think the time of year has come to get the pleasure out of owning one of these beasts.

(and a shameless bttt!).

Asking £6,995 ono.

But don't be shy, come see it and make me an offer, you never know, you might catch me in a charitable mood! (Doesn't happen that often though, according to the Mrs)

Hi Buddy, thank you for the positive comments, appreciated.

If you are interested in this type of car, I would look to buy as soon as you can because once the summer arrives demand outstrips supply and you can miss the boat and spend the whole summer looking and not able to find something that suits you.

I speak from bitter experience here and missed a whole summer myself , in the end I bought in December but at least had it ready for the following summer.

Don't make the same mistake I did.

Best regards.

Hi so what is needed to sort the A/C? any bubbling or rust on the car except the spoiler? was it ever waxed or under-sealed.

thanks in advance

Hi Harry.

I have the replacement condenser rad so the old one needs to come out and the replacement fitted. (Need to take the cooling rad out to get at it from memory)

I would change the dryer/filter at the same time.

Then pressurise with Nitrogen to ensure no leaks. If all is well, vac out and refill with the correct refrigerant.

All standard stuff for an air-con service centre to do.

Car was Waxoil'd when the paint job was done but to be fair it's only ever been used in the Summer and kept in the garage it's entire life.

No rust on her, paintwork is mint except that slight bubbling on the spoiler as per photo in my listing.

As said I have the spare paint to get it blown in as a spot repair if required.

Other than that, no problems.

Just noticed you're in Wigan so not far away. Why not come take a look, don't think you'll be disappointed.
