Hi All,

I joined last month after seeing a 300z again, the first since I test drove a nearly new red TT back in the late 90s!

Amazing looking cars even now, you are all very lucky if you have one! Didn't realise there was such a following or a select few still on the road.

Having had a look about at various sites of those for sale, I see their price varies considerably, but hats off to the midnight purple stunner recently listed on here.

Various Jap cars have come and gone from my driveway and garage, but a TT would see me nicely into my 50s and beyond I'm hoping.

I'm going to have a driving mission on my hands to get about and see some, so far the nearest one to York has been all I've got to - an auto silver 94TT in Bradford.

Any top tips or details of cars you may know of that are for sale on the trader or auction site, or indeed any one who lives close by who wouldn't mind showing off theirs it'd be much appreciated.

Best regards

Rich.

Hi mate and welcome to the club.

I'm sure there's someone up there who wouldn't mind giving you a tour.

Not sure if you would prefer auto or manual, but there is a nice restored Grey TT auto for sale from one of out members, and a silver recent import which would both make nice sorted cars. An obviously the Midnight purple but that might be out of your price range.

I would say you would be looking at £4000+ for a clean example with little issues.

Hope that helps and if you have any more questions please share :)

Cheers guys.

I originally thought 5k would do the trick for something nice, then I started looking!

Double the money on a number of adverts :( And I'd prefer a manual, but we'll see how it goes.

Need some time off work to get shopping!

Alic - thanks for the nod on the grey TT, lovely interior. Great job GSC60.

Its a good budget and should get you a nice sorted car. THere just aren't many sorted cars up for sale that are offering the right prices. Great for us as it represents the cars rising in value, but the damn things never sell as the prices are a tad too ambitious

Hi and welcome to the club, Rich....!

I reckon I might have seen that silver Zed advertised on Autotrader - if it's the one I'm thinking of (below), it did look tidy:cool:

Interesting thread which that lead onto, thank you.

Like anything from the 90s, dealers are now all quoting "an appreciating classic", maybe if wrapped in cotton wool for the next 20 years! If we'd all kept everything we'd ever owned and now sold them, would we all be minted, or just skint from all the maintenance

I'd like to get to see that white one, (amongst others) it's been on ebay at a number of different prices, it'd be nice to see why it is so pricey! Does anyone here recognize it?
