Hello and welcome!

That does not look a bad car, but I'd be considering overall condition - especially underneath - above any modifications or enhanced ICE that the car may come with.

View it in the flesh; check the underside, the sills, rear wheel arches; anywhere corrosion might lurk before anything else. Whilst imports generally "should" be less likely to have suffered from the tin-worm, that car has been here for 14 years now!

See if anyone from here is local(ish) to you; who might be willing to come and see it with you.

And good luck in your search!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Can't stand dealers that set the year as the date it was imported.

Looks tidy lots of questions to ask but unfortunately it's hard to get decent answers most of the time as seekers don't know the cars like this forum does.

My eyes tell me that there is a different blend of red paint running down the right hand side could just be light there. Worth having a look at or even an email to fill in the blanks that the brief description doesn't supply.

See if any garage makes crop up in talking to them as there is more names to avoid than to use.

I to did wonder if the colour was slightly different or just the way the light is. Hopefully can find more out, though I have found out the Z mot runs out end of the month

From the photos:

Evidence of rust on top of front suspension struts by wings

Car has had a respray - looks to be missing stone chip finish on sills, maybe repairs to sills.
