Has anyone else ever been a member of another car club, if so what club and what car did you have. I was a member of the VPCC (vauxhall performance car club) i know performance & vauxhall in the same sentance but i used to think my CAV SRI was the best thing on the road. LOL.

I was a member of the TVR Car Club when I had a V8 washing up bowl.

Have also been a member of the Porsche Club of Great Britain too, but didn't enjoy it that much as it was all about people with lots of money:rolleyes: At the time I was skint - mostly down to my ageing 924 turbo - at least on here, everyone seems to be skint, thanks to their pride and joy:D :D

Me too. And in the dim and distant past the only other car club I ever belonged to was the Bond Bug Owners Club !!!!!

Fortunately I didn't bang anything. Although whilst on that subject I was giving my girlfriend a lift home at the time. Next day we had to complete the journey on my Ducati and that officially ended the relationship ! No great loss, she was usually referred to as "The Garston Strangler" behind her back ! LOL :D

Why would a journey in the back of a Ducati end a relationship? I know that Ali (my other half) would kill for that!

 

Anyway: "The Garston Strangler" so, no jokes about choking the Monkey? :D

Well after the 'incident' in the Bug followed by being scared witless on the bike (and she hated bikes) that was it.
