dont come on here that much now with having no z but drop by for a looks some times thought i would show you my new well old bike its a 1951 ajs 350cc single cylinder 4 stroke its been fully restored only done 18 miles since it was rebuilt just riden up and down the run way by the chaps the looked after the exhibits it came from a airplane museum they has this and some old cars to show what the pilots would have used to ride home on after flying all day hope to get some pics the bike with the planes was in a exhibit at a museum next to the planes will post some pics when i get them any how hope you like it as much as i do will be taking it out when the weather is better due to the age it dont not need a mot or tax lol just insurance

its lovely mate me grandad used to be into bike like this back in the day always wanted one need to get some leathers of the day and take it out for a ride

yes mate there still here.

lot of levers on the bars decompress level for cold start choke and you have to do your own timing with a other level retard and advance as you ride. and get this i never had a key you just rode to work shut it off and turn the fuel line off. so anyone could have drove off on it but from what i was told form old times in the 1951 it was rare for some one to steal it so you didnt need a key or lock. how things have changed

i did i shaved it off other day, need some old leathers and some googles now lol

What a cracker. Many, many moons ago I stripped one down and used it for motocross, lovely big old single pot thumper, grand fun.

they did do scambler from factory and also a hard tail

will make a vid when am off work next week of it running and riding,

shut it bri lol. i dont think i will be going very fast on this lol :scooter:

first fire up in a long time going to strip the carb and clean think its a bit lean or float is jamming will be easy to fit will make a better vid once it up and running on the road

after a carb strip down and clean float bowl was nice free spark test and compression test new fuel its now running nice went on a 10 mile ride was blast from the past nothing like my new bike takes a bit more skill to ride vid of it running nice now
