Hi guys,

Currently running n/a brakes and it seems it's getting harder to find good value brake discs anywhere?

Albeit not loads of performance difference, what's needed for a TT brake conversion. Similar performance I know but parts much easier to find

What year is the car?

Yup - this..... As later NAs came with TT calipers and the same thicker discs.

If you do need to upgrade on an older NA, you'd need the calipers from a TT to accommodate the thicker discs. I believe the calipers just bolt straight on without modification.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

If you have the early NA ones, Ferret out some R32 GTR calipers and discs. Pretty common, easy to get it's for and a slight upgrade over the TT stoppers.

If you do go TT I've got some drilled and grooved discs that are no use to me now. Some surface rust but £10+ post and you can have them.

If he doesn't take them I might have my eye on them :shifty:

Thanks for all the feedback. I have an early n/a brake setup. Hands to know TT will bolt straight on. Thanks for the offer of the discs Stephen but not looking to anything urgently so if you've got another buyer send them that way! More future proofing!

No problem bud. ;)

? I've just replaced my discs with drilled & grooved ones both front & rear at £200!

A tenner is a steal, why not?
