Bad engine noise

Hi all. Recently got my 1993 300zx na and has a bad rattle. Any ideas. Been told it could be a cam.RnrqyA158OM

    Do another video away from the fan - it's very difficult to hear it. It's not easy to diagnose engine rattles online anyway.

    Nice easy one there, cambelt slap, either the adjuster is all the way out, set wrong or in need of replacement, you will need to do a full Cambelt change including the belt pulleys and the adjuster.

     

    Heard that sound so many times over the years, nothing to worry about engine wise just needs the above job doing, give Jim a call at PowerZed will have it done for you in no time at all.

    Jeff thanks very much for that. I did notice the belt didnt seem right but im new to these cars so wasnt sure. Thanks again.

    No bother, search the word Cambelt and my name JeffTT in advanced search and you find plenty of Cambelt tech threads I have done over the years.
