December 3, 20168 yr Sadly I think that effect will be temporary. I've used an autogleam product that brings them up like that. Month later you look grey again.

I used a Car Plan one over a year ago, and it still drips down the paintwork every time I wash the car! :(

December 4, 20168 yr There was nothing wrong with mine apart from a few layers of paint, this will no longer suffice because as you'd imagine there were areas that were scabby so to speak. Â I have spent a considerable amount of time prepping these, getting the rubber part flexible again, i am thinking this can be sharply masked off and to match my roof trims painted satin black, will invite views on that as i'm thinking the factory colour is a sort of dark grey ? Â I also know they can bought which is a consideration although they're not cheap but everything is there on mine and i see it has wasteful to not use them. Â Here they are partly wet from the paper and the wire wool that were used....... Â
