Not sure photos do justice.

Having tried different products to get these looking good.

Finally found a product that works like magic:biggrin:

Front near side & driver rear.

Where they easy to fit? Whoever had my z before me 'painted' the trims in what looks like Underseal so they will be getting replaced at some point

He didn't actually change them.

Very good result.

Sadly I think that effect will be temporary. I've used an autogleam product that brings them up like that. Month later you look grey again.

No way! I thought you'd replaced them haha, proves how good they look out guess

They can be very hit-and-miss. I used a Car Plan one over a year ago, and it still drips down the paintwork every time I wash the car! :(

At nearly £20 for 30ml it better last more than a month Steve!

There was nothing wrong with mine apart from a few layers of paint, this will no longer suffice because as you'd imagine there were areas that were scabby so to speak.

I have spent a considerable amount of time prepping these, getting the rubber part flexible again, i am thinking this can be sharply masked off and to match my roof trims painted satin black, will invite views on that as i'm thinking the factory colour is a sort of dark grey ?

I also know they can bought which is a consideration although they're not cheap but everything is there on mine and i see it has wasteful to not use them.

Here they are partly wet from the paper and the wire wool that were used.......
