Well, after almost a year after acquiring my first Z and trying desperately to get her on the road, she's all MOT'd, taxed and insured and I made my first show last night..Jap Night at Squires Cafe (Leeds).

It's been an emotional roller coaster with seized engines (TT conversion done courtesy of Lee Dent), and drilling out and re-welding panels to name but a few, so such a chuffin' relief to get there!

The journey is still not over (obviously, it's a 20odd year old car!), but from what I can tell, the work needed in the foreseeable will be more manageable.

Look forward to meeting a few of you at future meets..who's off to the Yorkshire Breakfast in Malton out of interest?

Peace out300zx TT.jpg

Thanks, but I sourced a genuine one from Australia, and had to wait AGES for it to come, got charged £20 for import tax AND flipping' got caught speeding on the way to the post office!

Running smooth now at least.

Thanks. Bodywork is super shoddy, so saving up for a re-spray next year.

It been like trigger's brush this motor! Replaced like every part.

Low mileage randomly though, so hopfully worth it..the figures tie up with MOT and DVLA checks..at just under 13,000miles!! :phone:

Might go to that Big Breakfast meet. Would be nice to see your car in the daytime, yours too, 300zx Ali
