Here are a couple more pics.

Also one of my first one back in 1992 .... One of my clients loved it so much he immediately sold his Porsche and bought one exactly the same.

THAT is what I call Customer Management.....we were like the Bopsy Twins.

All we needed was matching cardigans.

Lovely looking car Barry! I remember talking to you at length last year at the NEC! Good to see you've gotten the car back on the road and lovely to see a prime example. Who ended up doing the recommissioning on it?

I am lucky to have some very savvy friends who look after my son's and my own race cars ('50s and '60s Lotus) and they helped out with the trick clockwork stuff.

Sounds excessive, but proper race mechanics have an obsessively thorough approach, they enjoy finding out new stuff, and they never like to cut corners.

They don't knock-off at 5.30 and they never give up.

Most important .... its also a matter of personal pride that they put you in the best possible car they can.

Different approach and mentality to a "normal" garage.

It already had its (Alunox ?) SS exhaust, which has a throaty note to it .... which in turn ensures the radio stays firmly switched OFF.

All I did was clean it properly, take it down to the tyre man, and enjoy it.
