was thinking last night if the 300 could ever have all wheel drive was thinking how it could be done i found this seem some one has had a little go in the past. any one seen or have looked into this in the past

thats cool wow nice

also i know guy were putting 2 engines in cars back in 90s. nova and golf if i remember. how about a twin engine awd 300zx

skyline running gear

The problem is the clearance, the front drive on a skyline runs through the engine sump so using a complete engine and drivetrain from a gtr would be the best option I think, could be done, but would you really want to?

would be pretty cool i have to admit and something out of the normal box

Nissan did think about making the z32 awd, but that would have ment the hood line would have had to be raised, which would have spoiled the design.

did they never new that will have to look into this

Get your hands on the enthusiasts companion book, they went through various designs including a mid engine one, a v8 and the 4wd. I think the skylines 4wd system came from one of the z32s shelved designs. It's worth looking at the Nissan Mid4 which is like a hybrid between what the z32 and r32 ended up with and arguably where the NSX came from.
