Hi guys, got some speakers here that I'm not going to use and do I'm selling them.

They are the focal brand and quite an expensive high quality brand.

There is a pair of 6.5" 3 way and a pair of 4" 3 way.

I checked the quality on Google and they came up as £165 for 1x6.5" and 1x 4" 3 way coaxial speakers.

Looking for around £150 but open to offers so try your luck.. DSC_0351.jpg

I don't think they're much more than 5 years old and they are working perfectly.. Don't know how much use they've had but they work very well..

Silly question, but will they bolt straight in to the rear speaker mounts?

The 4inch might fit, but the 6.5s definitely won't.

You also have to trim a little off the speaker housing plates in the doors to make room for them.. Can be done by adding a wooden ring to the plate to raise it out slightly but easily done..

FYI - They will fit the Bose rear speaker enclosures which are designed for 6.5" speakers.

Ah, didn't know the bose rears were made for round speakers? Thanks for that Andrew, I always thought the rears were the oval shape only.. Ya learn something new every day huh!

Need to shift these quickly to get some cash back in the bank after recent unexpected bills!

So, 100 for the 4 speakers +postage..

Bargain at this price!

I've got tweeters but I'm using them in the car, crossovers weren't there unfortunately but they're only not a big expense.. Seen them on fleabay for under £30 a pair or of course you can solder a capacitor inline..

But for £100 for the set, I know I'd pull someone's arms off for them if I wanted high quality sound..

Well, opportunity is there for someone, but if they don't go at this price I'll keep them for my car in the future..

You don't have the crossovers and the tweeters to make them 3 way Paul?

Or you could run them as an active setup instead of using the crossovers. Not sure what kind of sound system set up you have, but that is another way you could run these.

It's clear you're getting 4 inch mixed up with a good 6 inch !!

Are those 6" speakers in the rear Andy?

If so I'm assuming you've made a new mount for them??

I've got oval mounts in mine which I take it are standard oem mounts.

Hadn't thought of adapting the rears to 6" as I have some pretty good quality rears already, but I also have some spare 6" pioneer speakers here doing nothing... Hmmm, I wonder??
