Replacing windscreen trims

Hi folks,

 

I'm just about to change my windscreen trims for the nice ones I bought from Andy recently....

 

.....So before I blindly go tearing off the old ones, is there a procedure I should follow - in order that I don't damage fittings etc...?

    I did the driver's side one relatively easily enough - but the car is a little too close to the wall in my garage to comfortably reach the left side. I'll do that one another day:wink:

     

    And Russ, I nearly tried your suggestion at one point, when my temper almost got the better of me....:rofl:
