Tyres

What are people using these days? I need some.

I always liked fallen 452's but they don't sell em these days so I'm wondering what people use. Not after the most expensive in the world like

In 275/35/18 you could have

Hankook Ventus s1 £256.60

Toyo T1S £240.80

Falken FK453 £222.80

All on http://www.camskill.co.uk/m61b0s333p0/Car_Tyres_-_MPV_Tyres_-_People_Carrier_Tyres_-_18_inch_R18_inch_-_275_35_18_275_35R18

But if you have Hankooks up front, I'd personally go for the matching set

Doh my maths failed me there, Hankooks would be £251.60

Decided to bite the bullet and just go for the ventus v12 evo2's - £230 for the pair

Thanks for your input everyone

I'm using Continental sport contact 5's... Really happy with them in the wet and dry too!!

I had those until recently - and I was very pleased with them.....

.......And concur too on the Goodyear Eagle F1s - they are also bloody good tyres:thumbup:

I have never been a fan of mid-priced tyres - but upon a recommendation from a friend, who drives a mapped E350 cdi coupe (which struggled to put the power down), I fitted 4 Avon ZZ5s to my Zed. They came in at under £400 for the set (235/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rear) - so if they were shite, I'd have binned them and gone back to Contis - and I have to admit, they are actually pretty impressive! I have had no brown pants moments, either booting the car in the wet; or hitting standing water at high speed. Will they last? Only time will tell; but so far, I am happy with my purchase..... Plus they have little "Z" logos around the outer edge - which I must admit makes me smile when I apply black tyre dressing:lol:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
