Hi all my name is Sean and have just got my hands on my first z

 

Little history on how I fell in love with the z32

 

I was 13 years old and went to see a half relitive (aunties boyfriends dad) upon arriving was sat a twin turbo burgundy 300 and as stupid as it sounds was love at first sight. From then on I was hooked on japanies cars and trough the years have been lucky to have driven but not own a lot 450bhp r33, 300bhpSubaru, n/a z32, twin auto z32, ect ect. I promised myself one day I would own a 300 and tody is that day lol.

 

She's a n/a automatic import and I love it, granted its not fast fast but it's what iv dreamed of for a long time.. There's just something about the z that feels amazing especially on a hot sunny Tay with the t tops off

 

Well just wanted to say hi to every one and introduce my self, I was a mechanic and fully qualified but now in the airspace (engineer) industry located in Welwyn garden city ( anyone close to meet in Hertfordshire ) cheers

 

Also if someone could point out how to upload pics I'll post them tomorrow, cheers

Sorry for the late replies guys been busy with wor. This has turned from a clean up and enjoy to a full build z lol

 

For some annoying reason I'll be halfway trough uploading pics and then this sight will log me out as I change from one window to another so I really don't know what I'm going to do about pics I'll try and get one up

Just me being a useless f@ck then I think I can upload them one at a Time maybe two.. Will start a project thread soon as wedding is paid off (two weeks away) then Cyprus for two weeks then it can begin, full strip down and re-build with engine swap and get rid of all the weight I can.

That's fine, you may proceed with Z ownership ;) looks good that mate! Standard niggly bits that want sorting but that's part of owning nice cars!

Well ye it's rough but to be honest I want it stripped cleaned underneath undersealed then I have a fresh base to work with, aiming for a lightweight 600bhp+ drift/track/road you

Nah its not that it's cause I'm 20 and like feeling like I'm doing okay ;) although she needs an awful lot of work before she's perfect haha

Cheers, really nice car and its a longish term project, but I'm keeping it on the road as much as possible so I can come to meets with you guys (though not actually driving it myself)

 

Manual NA, needs sills and some arch remedies, also new tailgate. Pics are from day I bought it. If you know what the alloys are PLEASE God tell me cause I've no idea and there's a hubcap missing :( looks like it's been a project somebody never finished, or even started. Paid 800 for her, been a dream since I was young so I snapped his hands off, truthfully I was expecting it to be an auto when I asked him about it, literally was driving past a car breakers and saw it was there

Yeah, I agree, which is now when you say you will be attending meets this year...? We have regular Bluewater meets in the SE, but if thats too far you, I think Nemisezx is sorting out some meets around there.
