Spot on Si, it was midweek and the weather was superb, I fell in love with Wales all over again. Why more organised "runs out" are not arranged over the summer there as a group is a shame. Empty, wonderful diverse roads and conditions, really enjoyed every mile and the scenery was simply stunning at times, as I say, I'd love to do it all over again :-)

I think the issue with Wales is the weather. It's more unpredictable than the rest of the UK is. The roads really are best driven on in the dry to be able to experience the full package as they can be pretty treacherous in the wet.

If you're a lone wolf and can pick any day, then it's fine, but group drives, it takes more planning and choices of times and days are often then thrown out of the window which subsequently entails a 'set' weekend. 65% of the time, the Welsh roads are sopping wet and/or foggy.

Would love to get a little meet at the top of the black mountains.. could get some fantastic shots of the cars! Not to mention the fun of driving up there
