Hi all.. I'll be receiving a donor car on Saturday, it's a jap 2+2 TT auto.

Engine is gone but everything rise is there.rear end of Body being used for project but the front end including wings, oem front bumper with lights indicators etc all there.

Interior is leather but looks like a tiger was let loose inside so retrimming is an absolute must!

Blue leather door cards dashboard trims etc in ok condition as far as I'm aware. Will know more when I receive on Saturday..

 

I'm told the auto gearbox is working very well. Car had big end bearing go and it's sat since engine removal.

If there's anything you need, let me know and I'll check for availability and condition and get back to you.

What colour is the car mate? If it's black I might like a couldn't of body bits (maybe)

I'm after the metal strip that holds the front spawn guard to the front bumper if you have it and a center console/radio surround if it doesn't have any holes in it

OK, the car arrives on Saturday afternoon so as soon as I have a clear indication of parts available and their condition, I will let you all know in turn of asking..

GSC60 I'm afraid I'll already have to disappoint you mate as these are one of the things I desperately need from the car as mine are split badly, so apologies mate cos if they're any good, they'll be going on my Z!

Hey Dutch, I've had a set of great condition targa bags for over a year mate.. I did advertise them here a long way back.. I'm 99% certain that the targa blinds are present with the car aswell, so if you need them. I'll keep them aside for you.

I'm looking at the pictures now and it doesn't look like the exhaust is there..

For those asking about colour.. Grey wings and I think it's dark blue?

Trust me my friend, to take a quote from the great obi wan kenobi.. This is not the interior you're looking for! Lol..

The seats are in a bad way, as Per my description of looking like someone locked a tiger in the car.. The doorcards, carpets, quarter panels etc look ok, but mondo has first dibs on the dashboard.

Unless you want seats to retrim, the seats are mullered!

It's got a good gearbox, most interior panels are good, two good wings and doors, targas, carpets, electrical components, pipework and not to mention the goodies hiding in the boot!

 

Much more to this than shown in the pictures.. Full set of coilovers for one..

And of course, I didn't pay the price shown on the advert either.. It's not a bad donor car for the money, I'd have preferred an engine in there though.. Beggars can't be choosers though. The body is plenty good enough for me to cut in half anyway! Lol

Ah now you make a very good point. But, it could have had it changed. The side looks the normal bronze colour but the front looks a little bluer to me. could have been an RAC replacement or something

Am i right in saying this has a gauge pod in the centre console? If so I'd be interested in that.

Also after the rubber bottom mounts for the radiator and the oil cooler hardlines at the front driver side if they are in decent condition

Do you have a lwb or swb? I have a swb tailgate and am relatively local

 

Also an fyi the side indicator repeaters are differcolours on each side into the ad

LWB buddy, shame on the indicators then, Although its moreso the rubbers behind I need, i just want orange indicators.

Once the cars here I'll be able to answer all the Q's but I'm fairly certain that most of what has been asked about is there..

Sparky, the tailgate is something I need for the project I'm doing mate, but if yours is in ok condition, I'm happy to take yours in part ex cos the project I'm doing is going to be prepped and sprayed.

I'm fairly certain that most of the stuff you want will be there but I can't vouch for the condition until I've physically seen it.

On not like to say it's good and then let you down.

The centre panel you're talking about has got 3 gauge holes in it but also has a small hole for what I assume was the boost controller down next to the digital clock.

Once it's here as I said I'll know more and I'll post a photo up of the bits that have been requested for the prospective buyers to judge the condition themselves amd make a decision on wether they want the parts or not..

 

It's a G plate car so I'm guessing a lot of parts will be original, so will have the age associated wear on them. It's done about 100,000 kms so depending on who's owned it and the maintenence performed I'm sure you'll know what a difference that can make to the condition of spares.. I hope it was treated better in the engine bay than the interior anyway!
