My Z is due to go in for a complete body haul and respray in a couple weeks and i am half minded to try and widen the rear arches a bit to give a bit of unique styling.

something like this grabs my eye..

I would only want to widen the rear though as don't want the car to look chubby..

Any thoughts on this?

Have a look at my blue zed thread, one of the last ones on it has a savage metal arch on the rear made from a front arch, It's very subtle and looks almost factory:thumbup:

In fact....HERE IT IS

I prefer them when they are filled to make them all smooth and not just 'plonked' on there, but nevertheless it can look cool.

(i.e. i prefer not like this)

They look pretty much perfect! I need to have a word with my body shop and see what they think, I think it makes in unique!

I know what you mean, but sometimes they can look too smooth and throws some of the lines out, i like the obvious widening, but again not to look tacky.

Trouble is unless it's very subtle your going to have a car that looks like this;

I've considered and still am some sort of arch extension to mine. Really not come up roses yet.

Of course I did!!!:tt2: I know what I like and I like that blue Z a lot!! I like to think of myself as someone who enhances a car rather than just bolts on any old crap:thumbup:

Arrhh,I am going to to widen mine a little,got some new arches but going to slightly modify them to give a little wider look at the rear,not going to wide want to keep it within the standard look:),but like you say if it's done right!! they all look good.

Ah.. Well I found these.. Wasn't sure why could be used as thought they were repair panels, not panels to be added to give wider arches, not a body guy don't slate me! [emoji28]

Haha. Yeah, they're body repair panels for our rusty arches. gray is just considering widening his

Thats probably because he's going to post something like this

Not a fan personally. The Strosek ones are probably the least favourite of the popular kits, some of the metal fabricated ones look nice, the blue one Rich posted the previous page works well, but generally they don't, they completely throw the balance off unless ultra subtle.

Don't even get me started on ****ing Rocket Bunny kits!!!! :rofl:
