Can all members make themselves familiar with the Clubs AUP regarding the PM System as we have yet another ban for someone thinking they can use it to abuse other members. When the Committee see the evidence of this then there hands are tied as its an automatic 7 day ban.

 

From the AUP..

Harassment of another user through the private messaging (PM) system will result in the enforcement of the Forum ban policy with no Warning.

Eek not in the spirit of the club guys, keep it nice on pm`s please.

I only really use it to organise buying or selling parts, contact details etc. Every now and then I have an off forum discussion about bits and pieces, work related crap or asking for a favour but that's about it:thumbup1:

......Things have been quite harmonious on the forums for some time now. Granted, we get a little banter; and sometimes it's easy to take offence at the written word, because unlike in a conversation, it's hard to know "how" someone says something when typed on the forums. But generally, people do not mean to offend - I have said it before, offence is most commonly taken as opposed to given.

 

However in the two recent cases Gary refers to, the intent is pretty obvious. Please guys and girls, the 300zx community is dwindling every year; we're united here by our love for these cars, so let's not allow things to get out of hand.
