Hi Guys,

Have a noob question here. Where do you go for OEM parts?

I’ve checked the traders section on here and while MJP Eastern is listed as a supplier of OEM parts, they didn’t seem to have much to offer on their website.

At the moment I’m after a plenum gasket. I know I can get one from Z Centre, however £12.00 (+VAT) seems a bit steep. Is there anywhere else I could look to get OEM parts, such as gaskets, for this and future jobs?

Mike at MJP can get you OEM parts if they're available mate. I agree the website isn't that great but generally speaking, just ring him and ask him how much for whatever you need. Alternatively, there's Z-Centre, Nissan or part suppliers in general, a lot of people order stuff from the states etc too, such as Z1, CZP, Specialty-Z etc. often just a case of shopping around for the best deal.

If it's fairly common parts you're after, it could be worth looking at past posts in MJp's section on here as he might have given a price for the stuff in the past... Obviously might not be the same now, but could work as a guide

I have all the rare bits you can't find :tongue:

Zcentre have a lot of OEM parts off the shelf - http://www.zcentre.co.uk

If Luke doesn't have it then I'd also recommend Courtesy Nissan (Texas) - they're always cheaper than the rip-off UK dealerships and usually deliver faster (despite shipping from the States) - http://www.courtesyparts.com/

Also good to consult if Nissan tell you a part isn't available - they must have a lot of stock.

For my big order I did a few weeks ago, the prices for each part varied between Z1 and CZP, with one being cheaper for some things and vice versa. But Z1's postage is a complete ripoff!! They wanted around $200, CZP quoted $80
