Z meets were almost every month back then and we'd often get around 10 cars show up. It's a shame how much ownership numbers have dwindled and continue to do so, however the rate of reduction has slowed a lot in more recent times.The last big regional meet that I can remember was the Ross-on-Wye meeting in 2006.

In the SE we attempted months meets, it lasted 2 months...

Though I suppose in the winter people prep their car/hibernate so there want many to attend, we could attempt a reboot in the future though :)

In the SE you're lucky that you are part of a large conurbation and as a result, ownership will be higher. I used to go to winter meets, but would take my daily hack if the roads were wet and/or had salt on them. Enough people would turn up to make it worth my while attending anyway.
